Little lamb, who made thee? Dost thou know who made thee?

This adorable little Transcaspian Urial lamb was born on April 8 at the St Louis zoo. This video was taken about an hour after birth.

The Transcaspian Urial sheep come from Eastern Asia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan Afghanistan and Iran.

The males are known for their large horns that curl out from the top of the head and then curl in behind the head. Their horns have been known to grow up to 39 inches long. The females horns are shorter and more compressed.
